Having been founded in 1869, we are even older than Goodwill (founded in 1895) and Catholic Charities USA (founded in 1910). For our entire history we have focused on assisting our clients to become productive citizens, and to break the revolving door prison cycle. Since its inception, PAA has served over 135,000 of Maryland’s most disadvantaged men, women, and families. PAA handles over 80 requests daily for assistance with supportive services.
